Members of the Miniature Mediteranean Donkey Association

Ansar-Venture is a new direction for us. We have had numerous years experience in the world of horses with our own and having run a livery yard for some time, as well as having shetland ponies, standard donkeys and pygmy goats for pets. Having fallen in love with the miniature donkey, we decided upon a new direction, hense Ansar-Venture Miniature Donkeys.
     We have spent many many hours, too many to count researching and knowledge building to ensure we have the ability to deliver our aim. That is to, produce high quality miniature donkeys that prove to be ideal for any need such as, showing, breeding or simply as wonderful pets. We also feel passionate at Ansar-Venture about each and every individual donkey as we see them as an extention of our family and show them all love and affection.
     Having secured some excellent future brood jenny's from America with exceptional bloodlines, we are able to provide a couple of foals for sale each year.
     As you can imagine bringing a foal into the world is a magical moment and getting to know their individual personality and watching them grow into loving friendly, well mannered little donkeys really is the best bit. We love them very much and want them to be happy in their new homes, which is why our help and support is ongoing. We see a sale as the start of a relationship, not the end.

"Bring me the colt of a donkey" was the masters request. A young donkey was brought to carry Jesus to Jerusalem. A week later, Jesus was ordered to be crucified.

 

That little donkey so loved the lord that he wanted to help him carry the cross. But alas, he was pushed away. The sad little donkey waited to say goodbye until neally all had gone. As he turned to leave, the shadow of the cross fell upon the back and shoulders of the little donkey.

 

And there it has remained, a tribute to the loyalty and the love of the humblest of Gods creatures.
